Bargain Town

Better than a dollar dance in a dimestore tuxedo. Chris Morrison, aka "The Sloppy Guitarist" and lead singer for the mildly famous (and now completely defunct) Lonely Trojans, has come up with a definitive, albeit wacky, collection of songs. If it's worth singing about, you'll hear it in Bargain Town. Most of it was recorded on a four-track cassette gizmo. Chris himself played all the instruments.

Reactions to The Sloppy Guitarist:

"Sloppy or not, he's a mess worth messing with indeed." - Melody Maker
"Comparisons don't really mean shit, do they? I mean, his nose is bigger than mine." - Billy Bragg
"Exemplary white man's walking blues!" - SOUNDS
"Despite the hole in the center of the record being too small to fit the album on my turntable, I did fall in love with Chris Morrison's endearing off-key vocals." - Suburban Voice
"Chris Morrison's music is sincere without being wimpy, romantic without being drippy and a heck of a lot of fun." - The Arizona Daily Star
